It gives me great pleasure to announce the 2010 RMHC
Asia Pacific Middle East & Africa (APMEA) Region
Conference, to be held this year on 19-22 October, at the Hotel Grand
Chancellor in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
This year’s theme once again echoes the Global RMHC
theme “better together”, but on a local level will
focus on the collective strength of our wonderful
communities within the APMEA region when we work
together, and the understanding that this combined
effort is what drives real change.
“Better together” is about realising that to
continue the positive impact we have on the lives of
seriously ill children and their families, we must
act as one powerful system and share with each other
the ideas, resources, tools and encouragement
required to grow the charity.
The 2010 Conference provides the perfect
forum to do this. We look forward to discussing how
we can be “better together”, not only within RMHC,
but in conjunction with the Staff, Donors, Board
Members, Volunteers and Healthcare Professionals who
so competently care for and assist the children and
families of the APMEA region.
On behalf of Marty Coyne and the RMHC Global
team, we look forward to sharing with old friends
and new, this great opportunity to develop our
skills and share best practice as we continue on our
unwavering mission to improve the health and
wellbeing of seriously ill and injured children.
Kind regards,

Malcolm Coutts
